 Beef Stew For Two

1 to 1 ½ pounds of beef 

Montreal steak seasoning (season beef)

1 ½ TBL vegetable oil

1 med onion diced

1 stock of celery diced

1 clove garlic minced

1 TBL tomato paste

1 TBL worcestershire sauce

½ tsp salt

¼ cup flour

¾ cup red wine

½ tsp thyme

1 bay leaf

1 ½ cup chicken broth

1 ½ cup beef broth

2 carrots diced

2 potatoes diced

½ cup frozen peas (thawed)

1 TBL honey

Pepper to taste


Brown beef, add tomato paste, then add garlic. Add flour, stir to mix, add wine. Add broth, and rest of the stuff. Bake in a 300 degree oven, check after 2 hours, cook until beef is soft. If you need to add more liquid, add chicken broth. Add peas, cover until ready to serve
